Izzy Mager

Originally from Vermont, Izzy moved to Charleston to attend the College of Charleston, where she graduated in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications. With a natural eye for creativity and a passion for visual storytelling, she brings a fresh perspective to her role at Charleston Home + Design Magazine.

Prior to joining the magazine, Izzy built several years of experience in Charleston’s hospitality industry, including roles with Free Reign Restaurants and in event planning and execution at a downtown restaurant. Her background helped shape her ability to connect with people, think creatively, and bring ideas to life in fast-paced environments.

At Charleston Home + Design, Izzy focuses on strengthening the magazine’s digital presence through engaging, visually driven content that showcases the people, projects, and businesses that shape Charleston’s home and design community. Whether she’s behind the camera at a photoshoot, filming on location, or developing a new content concept, her goal is to create meaningful stories that extend the magazine’s presence beyond the page.

Outside of work, Izzy enjoys fitness and athletic competitions, spending time with friends, and meeting new people throughout the Charleston community.
