Interior Designers Lauren Malatich and Beth Cochran | Photography by Kelly Parrish

This beachfront home was designed around an open concept divided by strategic design to separate these zones for entertainment and relaxation. The phrase their clients used to describe their vision was “a nod to the sea” which informed the design selections and color palette throughout the rest of the home. The coastal feel was emphasized by a shiplap stairwell, trim painting Ben Moore White Dove, and walls awash in Ben Moore Wind’s Breath. Woven jute materials add warmth to the white performance fabric upholstery on the sectional sofa that sits upon tile floors laid to mimic the look of natural wood.
