On Thursday, October 29, Charleston’s home and design community rolled into Elyse Witt and Zuhal Bulut’s beautiful Zuma Imports showroom in Mount Pleasant to celebrate the latest issue of Charleston Home + Design magazine. Sponsored by Cabinet IQ, the Fall 2026 issue Launch Party brought together designers, builders, industry partners, and friends of the magazine to raise a glass in honor of cover star Grace Frederick of Grace Frederick Design.

Charleston Home + Design owner and CEO Courtney Kutzman took a moment to recognize the community that continues to support the magazine and its ever-growing calendar of events.

“We are a small but mighty team,” Kutzman said, offering heartfelt thanks to the magazine’s staff, contributors, advertisers, and partners. She also gave guests a sneak peek at what’s next, including a move to a new headquarters on Meeting Street in downtown Charleston, as well as plans for a holiday open house and toy drive.

Turning the spotlight to Frederick, Kutzman recalled their first meeting and the immediate impression the designer made. Her warmth, unmistakable personality, and eye for design are reflected throughout her work and her Johns Island home, which graces the pages of the Fall issue.

For Frederick, the evening was more than a chance to celebrate her cover feature. She thanked the team and creative partners who brought her story to life and shared how much the feature meant to her personally. More than a keepsake, the article is something she looks forward to sharing with her children when they’re older.

She tipped her hat to the collaborative spirit of Charleston’s design community, where support often wins out over competition. “We are really lucky here,” she said. “I think we have such an amazing community.”
