Josh Walker

Josh Walker is the editor of Charleston Home + Design, bringing more than 15 years of experience in publishing and storytelling to the magazine. A writer, photographer, and designer, his career includes editorial and creative roles with The Scout Guide and The Chronicle of the Horse, as well as nearly six years as creative director for the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, where his work focused on telling the stories of the people, businesses, and ideas shaping the Charleston region. He is also the creator of Kind Light Charleston, a portrait and profile series exploring the people who make Charleston unique and the experiences that shape them. Originally from San Diego, California, Josh has called Charleston home for the past seven years. He brings his publishing experience and curiosity about people to telling the stories of the designers, builders, makers, and homeowners who give Charleston its distinctive sense of place.
