Stono Construction created a marshside sanctuary for this homeowner who was soon retiring to Charleston.
The new homeowner wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous landscape and have a space to retreat that was both comfortable and elegant. This flexible and inviting design boasts over one thousand square feet of added indoor/outdoor living space with clean sight lines accentuating the natural beauty of the landscape by Coastal Landscape Design.
New additions to the three-acre property include a saltwater pool with an automatic vinyl cover, an extended breezeway, a spacious cabana, an indoor/outdoor shower, and a five-hundred-square-foot poolhouse that doubles as a guest suite.
The saltwater pool features an automatic pool cover and smart technology that allow the owners to adjust the settings remotely. The pool deck is ivory travertine stone that mimics the look of a sandy beach.
The custom cabana and breezeway were built to boast incredible views of the marsh and to provide an ideal space for indoor/outdoor living. The natural-looking decking material is treated wood with a sealant from Four Corners Building Supply.
