A variety of wood grains creates harmony throughout the home by way of repetition. Custom millwork like white oak hardwood flooring makes for a seamless transition from room to room.
An enclosed breezeway was custom-built with pecky cypress and Ipe deck wood for a durable outdoor living space and a private guest suite entrance. The space is shaded with copper screening and oversized Bermuda shutters for controlled sun exposure and provides a place to indulge in the benefits of indoor/outdoor living.
The original kitchen was too cramped for everyday use, so entertaining wasn’t even an option. PRD revamped the space by knocking out the surrounding walls and opening the kitchen up to the living room.
This included adding built-in storage spaces with intentional organizational systems to better take advantage of the existing living space.
