After five years plus of decorating homes around New York, interior designer Lissette DelVecchio, Principal + Founder of Chez Lissette now offers full interior design services in Charleston, SC.
This home in particular was transformed using a mix of the client’s existing furnishings with vintage and new showroom pieces to create a layered look. A harmonious coat of Benjamin Moore’s White Down paint refreshed the walls with a soft glow.
Gotonovo plumbing fixtures add vintage charm to the primary bathroom outfitted in Carrara marble.
“These clients in particular desired an at-home oasis that felt like a getaway every time they closed the door. They love to travel and have stayed in many beautiful hotels. The wife in particular has an affinity towards European architecture. They wanted to capture the feeling of a luxury Parisian hotel, slightly paired down, and without being too literal.”
“This concept informed the furnishings and finish selections – timeless marble and antique brass fixtures in the bathroom; the black and brass iron canopy bed, and the vintage writing desk that would be used as a make-up vanity.”
The bar area features a custom white oak vanity and a durable Cambria quartz countertop.
