For these homeowners on Isle of Palms, their new home needed a coastal and classic feel with design elements that would stand the test of time thanks to design direction from The Village Social.
Kaitlyn Gentry, interior designer and co-owner of The Village Social was able to create a design scheme that embraced all of their wants and needs in a refreshing kitchen design. Kaitlyn’s material selections included wide plank white oak hardwoods, fresh white shaker-style cabinetry, and a decorative range hood to match. She chose to tile the backsplash halfway to meet the shiplap wall panels that cover the rest of the space. Brass linear pulls mirror the finish of the wall-mounted pot filler above the range. The vintage Turkish runner sourced from Zuma grounds the space with a gentle reflection of the surrounding color palette.
