Story by Micaela Arnett / March 5, 2024

Ultra-luxe style meets highly practical designs in this home perfected by architect Bill Huey, builder Elliott Hobbs, and interior designer Rebecca Carter of Red Element Design. Together, this team worked alongside the custom cabinet professionals at Mount Pleasant Kitchen and Bath to create a luxurious home aesthetic complete with hidden function and elevated style.

Each set of cabinetry throughout the home is framed and inset, designed to tie in with the surrounding millwork for a seamless look that mimics the look of historic architecture.

Rift-cut white oak surrounds the range and accents the central island and sink wall.

Typically, a homeowner will select either all custom or all factory-finished cabinetry throughout the entire home. In this case, a combination of site-finished and factory-finished cabinetry was the key to success.
