On Friday, January 23, beloved home furnishings brand Serena & Lily will open its much-anticipated Charleston Design Shop. Located at 32 Cumberland Street, the Design Shop will capture the joy of decorating through home-like vignettes, showcasing heirloom-quality offerings including furniture, bedding, and home accessories. The two-story, 4,900-square-foot space leads into a magical exterior courtyard, complete with a fireplace and an additional 2,250 square feet. Though this Design Shop marks Serena & Lily’s first brick-and-mortar presence in Charleston, the Holy City has been a strong source of design inspiration. The brand previously launched the Beaufain wallpaper, which takes its name and design cues from a historic wallcovering discovered in Kate Towill’s Charleston home.

The official opening will kick off with a ribbon-cutting on 1/23 at 10 AM. Representatives from Serena & Lily will be in attendance, followed by a raw bar, live music, and light bites for all, plus Penelope Bourbon cocktails for adults. Readers of Charleston Home + Design are encouraged to attend!
