Charleston Home + Design Celebrates the Summer 2026 Launch Party at Charleston Design Center Featuring Madison LeCroy
Walking into Charleston Design Center floods the mind with possibilities. Inspiration waits around every corner. It’s a place where you could walk in with the beginnings of an idea and leave with a refined vision.
As a crowd from across Charleston’s home and design community filled the space to celebrate the launch of our Summer 2026 issue featuring cover star Madison LeCroy, a parallel sense of possibility buzzed around the future and vision of Charleston Home + Design.
Madison joined us with her family and was every bit as gracious and full of charm as you might expect, greeting guests and posing for photos in front of her larger-than-life cover. Her baby daughter, Teddi, stole the show, though. Naturally.

Guests mingled over light bites from Hamby Catering and an open bar featuring the ever-popular Co-Op Frosés, while a live band filled the Design Center with classic rock vibes.
As the newest addition to the Charleston Home + Design team, I felt proud to be part of something that has spent nearly three decades helping shape and celebrate this community. That night, I could see firsthand just how connected that community really is. Designers, builders, architects, makers, homeowners and local businesses form a network built on relationships, shared creativity and a deep appreciation for what makes Charleston distinctive.

On July 1, Courtney Kutzman became full owner of Charleston Home + Design, making Thursday night the publication’s first issue launch under her sole ownership. In remarks to the gathering, she reflected on how honored she is to lead the magazine into its next chapter and credited the talented team around her, one she says she continues to learn from every day.

She also offered a glimpse of what’s ahead with the announcement of Charleston Gatherings, a new series of events designed to create more opportunities for our community to connect. Building on the energy of our quarterly launch parties, future Gatherings will expand into experiences such as panel discussions, home tours and other events centered on the people, places and ideas shaping Charleston.
Much like Charleston Design Center itself—a place filled with ideas and seemingly endless ways to turn inspiration into something tangible—there is a tremendous sense of possibility around what comes next for our community. We look forward to telling those stories, making more connections and creating more reasons to keep gathering.
