After studying communications at SUNY Oswego and moving to sunny Charleston, Publisher Tim Barkley spent several years in the radio business selling airtime and perfecting his radio voice (heard now on our local spot, “Talking about a Home: A Home Show on the Radio”). As the company’s founder, Tim has been integral in the creation and growth of New Home Charleston since the company’s inception in 1999, and he has worked the past 21 years to make homebuilding and remodeling a simple and enjoyable task for Charleston locals. He resides on the peninsula with his wife, Jenny, and their two sweet girls, Cameron and Reese.
