Micaela moved to Summerville when she was in the second grade and has called South Carolina home ever since. A graduate of the University of South Carolina in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications; Major in Public Relations, she has been fascinated by the written word since she could read. Micaela’s first poem was written at age 5 and she never stopped. She is a professional ghostwriter, copywriter, and copyeditor who is passionate about the Arts, exploring new cultures, and connecting with those in her community. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing poetry, hanging out with her six-year-old dog, painting (though not well), and thrifting for her next statement outfit.
