The entryway is the perfect place to establish a welcoming statement for your guests. We chat with Debbie DeLong of Designs by Imagine That to get some tips on how to style the perfect entry.
Start with a color scheme that flows with the rest of your home.
Select a credenza for your entryway, one that goes with your home’s furnishings and is a functional spot where you can place essentials.
Add art to play with shapes and various colors in the room, or you could add a mirror instead of artwork to make the space seem larger and brighter.
Keep adding layers with rugs and lighting to add warmth to the space.
The final touch is to add items to the credenza itself. Vases with flowers are a great addition to welcome guests into your home. Debbie suggests keeping it simple and operates on the less is more philosophy.
